Ash always told me about the story of John's grandpa chatting with Fann Wong & Christopher Lee @ this restaurant when they happened to be there having dinner. I always find it so amusing, as I wouldn't even dare to approach them for a light chat. Kind of dinner intrusion.

And ever since, Ash always hopes to go here and eat, not becoz of them, but becoz of good japanese food, i suppose. She chose this place for our dinner with FL's favourite supplier Lily, as she is paying the bill. It's my first meeting with her, she is just so nice & easy to get along, maybe coz we are all from the same sec school.

We were greeted by Kimono waitress before being led into the dimly lighted small restaurant. As indoor was packed, we were given an outdoor seat where we met a weird peh peh "waiter". We ordered a no of dishes and were busy indulging ourselves when this peh peh suddenly came over and asked "Are all of you from China?"

So speechless, we said no and he walked off. After a while, he came back and asked "Is this green tea that we were having", and we said yes. He immediately went over and took a cold flask of green tea and poured into my cup which we asked him to stop, as mine is hot tea & that flask of tea which he is holding seems to be placed outside for quite some time.....yeeeee.

Luckily after that, he did not came over and disturbed us further as we had almost finished up our food. The food here were actually quite alright, not super fantastic. I do like my tempura rice coz of the sauce but for the $$$ paid out for this meal is actually not very worth it. Selections were also very limited in the menu and costly.

I never appreciate the teapot seafood soup as it taste quite blend except for the lime which ash squeeze into it. And the soft shell crab is just a pathetic small pc.

But of coz, for the amount you pay here, you will definitely expect very good service from the kimono waitress, not the peh peh ah.
