My first visit to this restaurant after much raves from Meow, a place which he strongly recommends to me. Located at the 60th level of the UOB Plaza, you could just imagine how magnificent the view is. The design of the restaurant is also quite tastefully done which makes it looks posh to me.
I actually came for their buffet dinner together with Meow, Ash & Fengling. You would need at least 4 pax to be entitled for their a la carte buffet spread. After comfortably settled down, we were served by a waiter with the very long kettle, hehe....so cheena, but i like.
Although the menu has about 60 items for you to choose from, you would still feel that there are lack of choices. As what you could expect to be serve in a chinese restaurant are just soup, chicken, fish, pork, vege and dessert, they just varies upon their cooking methods, steam or fry.
Though most of their food taste very good with well presentation in huge portions, you can soon get bored with it as you wouldn't want to eat 3 types of chicken or fish in a night. By end of 18 to 19 dishes for 4 pax, we put a full stop.
Oh yah, by the name of the restaurant itself, you know that they serves very good dou hua. Melts in your mouth. Order it fast before it has been wiped out by other ppl. Another must have item is the Red Bean Paste Pancake, super yummy, best tasted so far.
Final Verdict: Buffet is about $40+ per pax, do you find it cheap?? I personally don't though I must admit their food taste good.
