Tomorrow is our 6th anniversary but falls on monday, therefore decided to treat meow for a dinner today instead, sweet sunday.

My colleagues recommended this place strongly, saying they served superb japanese food with great quality fresh sashimi. And it is true enough.

The location inside Holland Village is not very obvious, as if it is tucked in a back lane. We were browsing through their menu stand and decided to go for their dinner buffet at 59+++ as it seems more worth it.

Once stepped in, we were being usher to our seat, a table just facing the sashimi counter. We feel kind of pressurized as the whole place though is small, but look posh & expensive, and it is very quiet, with one lady serving everyone. She has a very stern look but at least quite helpful with our orders. So we try to get cozy & relaxed here while crunching on their complimentary salad.

For our first few orders, the lady told us that portions are very little and advise us to get 2 sets each, so we did. So for the next few orders, we also assumed that portions would be small so in those kaisu singaporean style, we ordered a lot of dishes. But when one by one is brought to us, we almost fainted as portions seems to get bigger and bigger, esp the fish head miso soup.

But even if it is in buffet style, every food being served is ganished & made to almost perfection and exquisite. It taste so good, and the sashimi is one of the best we have tasted, so fresh & sweet. The food here will definitely make you remember this place so clearly.

What a perfect night for our anniversary celebration.

Final Verdict: It is worth every cent you spend. Even a tofu can taste so good.
