I only got to know this dessert stall through the channel 8 show, where people will give thumbs up or down, whether is it worth to queue long hours for the food. This dessert stall seems very well-received by them.

I do not have the chance to head down to the chinatown branch. Luckily they opened a new stall at hougang to my convenience. But after trying out a few of their desserts, nothing that fantastic. Overrated again.

I always crave for the mango pomelo dessert after coming back from Hong Kong. And happen to know from TV that this stall sells superb Mango Pomelo dessert, I die die also wanna try. But to my dismay, it taste horrible and at an expensive price of $3.50. It had a strong persimmon taste which i don't know why, and it is too meshy.

The almond paste ($2.50) is thick but still non-comparable to the one i drink at Ah Yat Abalone years ago. The egg pudding ($2.50) is good, you can choose to have it with ginger or not. At least it is not too sweet and smooth, better than Ah Chew's dessert. The beancurd barley ($2.50) is not nice, weird taste. But do try their Tang Yuan, i like this.

I personally find the prices too expensive for the pathetic small quantity given. But then, as a dessert lover, I would still patronise this stall if I got cravings as near my house mah.

Rating: 6/10
