Our first visit to this eatery located just one level above Imperial Treasure Teochew. We wonder what's the difference between these 2 restaurants. Our first thinking is price difference as this Nan Bei restaurant don't look as posh as Teochew, very plain looking. Heehee.

After me & meow step in and get seated at the booth, we started flipping through the menu. We even find the dishes similar to the teochew one, price not a lot of difference....so why open 2 stalls??? Service wise is still good but as we were seated at a secluded corner, difficult to catch the service staffs' attention.

We ordered a few dishes like crab meat vege, double boil chicken soup, claypot bittergound with mini pork ribs and a red bean paste pancake. All tasted above average, esp the soup, can taste the sweetness. What's disappointing is the red bean paste pancake, yucks!! No standard at all as it is very dry and not tasty, so rem not to order this dish.

Final Verdict: Despite the red bean paste, all is nice & well, so still not a bad place to visit for a bite.
