Ichiban sushi has a more casual environment than Ichiban Boshi. Very suitable for family dining due to the affordability. Sushi and sashimi selection is very much similar to Boshi as well. As for the main course, it has more hotplates selection but lesser set meal choices.

In terms of taste, I personally prefer Boshi as Ichiban Sushi don't taste as good, not that appealing as well. The hotplate of Katsu is very salty and has a weird taste. Sashimi is also not that fresh.

Recently, I have been to their new outlet at Hougang Mall with my frenz. Trust me, you hate their services as it is slow, unattentive while we are trying hard to wave our hand in the air like idiots, and communication breakdown.

Final Verdict: Still acceptable for dining with lesser preferences.
